About Me and My Services

My name is Edward Gershkovich, and I'm a graphic and web designer from Brooklyn, New York. I earned an A.A.S. degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kingsborough Community College and a B.F.A. degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts. With over 20 years of experience in graphic and web design, I enjoy creating designs for print and web that are both visually appealing and easy to navigate. My education and experience helped me develop a strong sense of design and a keen eye for detail.

Who am I?

Graphic Design

My design work includes logos and brand materials, business cards and stationery, brochures and flyers, posters and banners, infographics and visualizations, package design, booklets and document layout. In the past I have also worked on larger scale projects such as car decals and tradeshow booths.

Web Design

I take a “less is more” approach to create streamlined and functional user experiences when building websites. Given today’s information-heavy environment, people value quick and easy access to the information or products they seek. My primary focus is on WordPress and Bricks Builder for efficient site creation, while I am also skilled in HTML, CSS, and other WordPress builders like Elementor and WPBakery. My goal is to design websites that not only look good but also drive customer engagement and satisfaction through easy navigation and clear, effective design.

For website development, I prefer using WordPress and Bricks Builder because WordPress is the most popular content management system, offering a wide range of site-building options, including themes, plugins, and customization features. Bricks Builder stands out as one of the most developer-friendly site builders, providing the cleanest code compared to its competitors. It ensures that a site functions properly across different devices, avoids unnecessary excess code, and maintains fast loading times. By combining WordPress with Bricks Builder, I can create efficient, responsive, and high-performing websites.

My brand strategy involves crafting brand positioning, defining core values, and establishing brand personality.
